Community Kitchen Volunteers

This Tuesday night we had the pleasure of working side by side with another CPC club, Bow River. We were able to do 365 boxes that night at the community kitchen warehouse. The large boxes retail for $80 and are sold primarily to seniors and students for $30, making produce affordable. We are so happy to be a part of this initiative and grateful for the constant support of Bow River.

Elevate donates $40,000.00

On Nov 3, the ladies of Elevate were thrilled to host representatives from two of our Charities, several of our event sponsors, a few potential new members, CPC President Tom Whitehead and other fellow Progressions. Our celebration was held to thank our Sponsors for their support of our WOW Photo Contest & Gala plus our new Western Sizzle (Stampede) event and to share in our successful fundraising endeavours.

President Ronni Church, had the pleasure of presenting $25,000 to Patty Kilgallon from the Children's Cottage Society. The Children's Cottage Society (www.childrenscottage.ab.ca) offers a wide range of programs for parents and children during crisis & respite. Specifically, the Crisis Nursery provides short term care for children during times of family crisis.

The success of our 7th Annual WOW Photo Contest also provided us with the opportunity of presenting $15,000 to Heidi Dinning from the Canadian Women's Foundation (www.canadianwomen.org). The Canadian Women's Foundation provides programs and services that empower women and girls to move out of violence, out of poverty and into confidence.

The ladies of Elevate are proud to be aligned with both organizations and we look forward to our continued support of these worthy charities
